Uztelecom is carrying out a major upgrade of its mobile network: modernizing existing base stations, building new ones and expanding 5G capabilities. As of October 18, 2026, the company had modernized 1,566 base stations and brought another 380 new stations into service under its mobile network development program. The work covers the Republic of Karakalpakstan, all 12 regions and the city of Tashkent.
